We recognize Fred Flintstone by his voice, but do we recognize our Good Shepherd by His voice? The cool thing about sheep is that they know their shepherd’s voice and only follow him. Sheep from many shepherds sleep mixed together in the same enclosure, but when the gate was open in the morning, they’re easily separated. All a shepherd has to do is call HIS flock out of the pen and into the pasture by calling them to follow. Jesus is our Good Shepherd and He wants us to follow Him. He tells us that He comes that we may have life and have it to the full. So, let’s spend time with Jesus so we know His voice better than Yabba Dabba Doo’s.
