I’m a former pharmacist who once dispensed meds but now dispenses encouragement by pairing beloved scriptures with fresh stories through my books, speaking, daily radio ministry and podcast. Throughout my years as a pharmacist, I also wrote and taught Sunday school curriculum, directed the women’s ministry in my home church, and chaired the hospitality team. These days, I get to do what I love most—write Bible resources for women. Because let’s face it: Life can be hard, and we all need encouragement (me included!). When the world feels heavy, God’s promises are like spiritual confetti—bright, beautiful, and ready to lift our hearts.

“We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” In light of Romans 8:28, I see my initials —L.W.— as a reminder that what looks like a Loss in the short term becomes a Win in the long term. No matter what your initials may be, you are called according to His purpose, and this promise is yours too.

At the heart of my life is joy: joy that rises from being Gigi to Elijah David and Gideon Levi, Mama to Alyssa and Garrett, and forever wife to David, the three roles that shape my days with love.
